Book Club Members Questions
- How do I log-in as a book club member?
If you were a member of The Craft Club or Needlecrafts with Cross Stitch and have not yet logged in, you need to log-in for the first time here. This special log-in is only to be used once to ensure that we have your correct details and carry over any balance to RUBooks.
- How do I access my account?
Once you have completed your first login and set up all your account details, you can access your account at any time by clicking the login / register link at the top of the page. You need to enter your username and the password and you will be logged into your account. You can access your account details at any time by clicking My Account at the top of the screen.
- How do I pay a balance?
This can be achieved by using the 'Online Payments' menu inside the 'My Account' screen. You will be able to see your current balance and any amount overdue and from here you can then choose the amount you wish to pay.
- How do I pay using my account?
To buy new items on your account, you should simply shop for these on this site and click the 'Buy' button to add them to your basket. When you checkout, you will have the option to pay 'On Account'
- I have been told I have insufficient credit to pay for my items. Why is this?
As a valued club member, we are continuing to offering you a level of credit for your items. This allows you to order items, have these delivered and decide if you wish to keep them before you have to pay. To ensure this system is not abused, we have set a credit limit of £50 for our customers. In our experience, this level is nearly twice the average order value. You are welcome to spend more than this, but any amount over £50 will need to be paid at the time of the order.
- How long do I have to pay for items?
Our credit terms allow you to order items to your limit and to pay for these within 30 days of the order. This allows you the time to check your order and return it if you wish.
- Can I part pay on credit?
Yes, you can part pay for an order up to your credit limit and will be able to pay the remainder at the time of order.
- I have been told I have insufficient credit but I haven’t bought anything recently?
This may be because we are awaiting payment for a previous order. Check your current balance and balance over due from the 'Online Payments' menu just inside the 'My Account' screen to see the status of your account. If you do not pay for an order within 30 days, your credit allowance will be removed until the order is paid for.
- How do I access my Book Club membership account through this website?
Book Club members that had live accounts at the time we made the changes to our Book Clubs can still access their account through this website. Visit our special Book Club Membership page.
- What is RUCraft Select?
RUCraft Select is an annual membership package that entitles you to 10% off all purchases, a free goody bag when you join and loads of extra features.
- I am an RUCraft Select member but don’t seem to be getting my discount?
The prices you see on the site are automatically updated when you become a Select member – so these already have 10% taken off the normal price when you are logged in. If you’ve just joined Select, you may need to wait until the next working day for us to update our membership records and for you to get your discount.
- What is Direct from Supplier?
To enable us to offer the widest range to our customers, we offer some items for sale that are supplied direct by our supplier partners. In these cases we show the item as 'Direct from Supplier' within the product page. We have worked with our suppliers to ensure the highest standards of delivery to our customers, but the process and courier used may be slightly different to items shipped directly from RUCraft. You can contact the RUCraft Customer Service team for queries about these products as you would any other product you buy from us.
